A few days ago an eel scientist came into my class. He talked to us.
I mean wow right! There's one thing you need to know though, Eels are amazing creatures right? Well our Urban eels AKA Long fin eels are close to endangered and we need to help them.
Urban eels are native to New Zealand and are only in New Zealand cool right?
There is a stereotype that eels are gross and slimy. Well no, yes about the slimy but, they're not as bad as people may think they are and they don't bite unless you are provoking the eels. And they're kinda cute as well. Here are some pollution that may get it: Zinc off metal roofs, Copper of disk brakes, dog poo, Car wash, plant repellent, rubbish, etc. Mega gross. And poor Edward the eel has to swim in it everyday.
